Getting to know the tricks of the IM…
The IM interprets your truth with rabid opposition, it runs back and forth between your emotional warehouse of direct experience in an attempt to distract you from the Absolute Flow of Success. Your choice becomes representative of the red ribbon dangling from the tug-of-war rope. Emotions rule the day and Success continues to flow without concern of your internal strife. Anger, pride, greed and fear arise internally, you try not to identify with them, but the IM is too powerful. You have trained it too well and it knows your weaknesses better than anyone.
The IM convinces you to identify with the body and sells you on the “I am-ness” that limits your potential. The “I-am-ness” and its common sense encourages you to abandon the cease-less flow of the IF and its “Supra-sense”. This false identification blinds you, it is deleterious for the Entrepreneur who desires to create wealth with Success.
Caught in this net of false identification of separateness, you flounder in Success, expending your energy trying to swim upstream, against the flow of wealth sometimes experiencing good commerce, but mostly bad commerce. The entrepreneur’s attitude in life fluctuates with the daily balance of his or her bank balance.
A Entrepreneur who is mad with pride, greed and fear is no different than the drunk who thinks he can drive better. The IM imbibes the Entrepreneur with a false-sense of confidence and then justifies all the failures with a host of weapons such shame, pride, guilt and denial…not to forget super-optimism. The IM distracts you with thoughts and opinions of gain and loss, measuring life with numbers and a P&L sheet, stretching into the past like a yard stick.
A Saint once said, “The only good death is the death of ones ego, ones own conceit, ones own arrogance…there is no death more worthy.”
In the hustle and bustle of Success and its many distractions, it is easy to forget our original state. It seems that the full time job of the IM is to be distracting us from realizing what we want most. The IM’s thoughts swing wildly from tree to tree like a monkey, drunk with emotions and opinions, the Entrepreneur becomes deluded by his/her shadow and forgets his/her true nature of flow; this is what I call the “Supreme-Entrepreneur-Syndrome”. When the soul of the Entrepreneur separates him/herself (seemingly so) from the flow of Success and tries to become an island to him/herself.
Is it Narcissism to think we are separate of Success…to think we can “beat” what our essence really is. The Entrepreneur falls in love with his/her IM and all its cunning ways. The IM creates theme parks with un-ending playgrounds that serve as a lifelong distraction to the Entrepreneur. Playing on the playground of our own mind, we become deceived, yes?
The IM comes to know us better than we know ourselves. The slide, the teeter-totter, the swing of almighty emotions. These are the tools of the oppositional mind and its playground. Walk off the playground and see the mind for what it is…a baby sitter, an amusement park that creates pain and suffering…yet, if we think, if I just add one more ride I will experience bliss.
The playground is simply a distraction for the unaware., the sleepwalkers. Gain awareness of this important detail and turn the power off to the rides on demand and you will realize oneness. The playground has its purpose, just recognize its limits, its use and the creator if its existence…you. The playground is a phenomenal creation and you are the theme park creator. Can you handle this truth?
